What makes Oh Boy different?

Oh Boy is more than just a tattoo shop; it’s an experience. We’re a space that thrives on creativity, individuality, and connection. Every piece we create is designed with care, emphasizing both artistry and longevity. Our approach to tattooing blends tradition and innovation, rooted in respect for the craft while embracing bold ideas. Oh Boy is about breaking the mold and delivering something truly unique.

Where is Oh Boy located?

Oh Boy is located at 2815 Baker Ave, Suite 206, Everett, WA—just 30 minutes north of Seattle. In the heart of Everett, our shop is easily accessible and offers a welcoming atmosphere for tattoo enthusiasts from across the Pacific Northwest. If you’re coming from Seattle, Snohomish, or beyond, Oh Boy is your go-to destination for creative, award-winning tattoos.

What types of tattoos do you specialize in?

At Oh Boy, we specialize in black and grey illustrative realism, blending detailed realism with a bold, illustrative style. Our work includes portraits, vintage-inspired designs, traditional Japanese, and western Americana tattoos, as well as custom pieces tailored to your vision. With an award-winning portfolio and over a decade of experience, Oh Boy delivers tattoos built to last, with clarity and artistry at the forefront.

What is the recommended aftercare?

We offer two aftercare options at Oh Boy, depending on your preference:

1. Derm Shield or Similar Products: This protective film simplifies aftercare, reducing responsibility for the first few days. Leave the shield on as directed (usually 3–5 days), then gently remove it and follow basic aftercare steps: keep the tattoo clean and moisturized.

2. Traditional Method (Saran Wrap): If you prefer the classic approach, we recommend removing the wrap after 2–4 hours, washing your tattoo with warm water and unscented soap, and patting it dry. Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free moisturizer and repeat this process as needed.

Regardless of the method, avoid submerging your tattoo in water (no swimming or soaking), keep it out of direct sunlight, and let it heal naturally—no scratching or picking.

How do I book an appointment?

Booking at Oh Boy is easy and personalized, with each artist managing their own scheduling process:

AMART: Clients can book directly through the scheduling link on AMART’s portfolio or profile page. This allows clients to choose a time and date that works best for them.

Sarina: Clients can book through the link to Sarina’s personal website, available on her portfolio or profile page.

Oh Boy values a direct artist-to-client connection, ensuring each tattoo reflects the collaboration and vision shared with the chosen artist. If you’re unsure where to start, browsing the portfolios is a great way to find inspiration and connect with the artist who fits your style.

How should I prepare for my appointment at Oh Boy?

Preparing for your tattoo appointment ensures the best experience and outcome. Here are some tips:

1. Stay Hydrated and Rested: Drink plenty of water and get a good night’s sleep before your appointment. Tattoos can take time, and feeling your best helps the process.

2. Eat Beforehand: Have a solid meal before your appointment. Low blood sugar can make sitting for a tattoo uncomfortable.

3. Dress Comfortably: Wear clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed and that you don’t mind getting ink on.

4. Avoid Alcohol and Blood Thinners: Steer clear of alcohol, aspirin, or other blood-thinning substances at least 24 hours before your appointment.

5. Stay Clean: Make sure the area to be tattooed is clean. Avoid heavy lotions or oils on the skin beforehand.

6. Relax and Trust the Process: Come in with an open mind and trust your artist to create something incredible.

If you have questions about your appointment or need additional guidance, don’t hesitate to reach out to your artist.

What does a tattoo cost at Oh Boy?

At Oh Boy, each artist manages their own pricing, so rates may vary. As a general guideline, AMART’s rate is $225 per hour, and the shop minimum is $200.

For an accurate quote, connect directly with your chosen artist through their profile or portfolio page. They’ll work with you to determine the best approach for your tattoo idea and budget.
